One standard for every field in your program.
Football at 3, soccer across town, baseball at the middle school. Sports Safe watches each field you monitor and holds every coach to the same lightning radius and your state's heat chart.
What matters to you
Built for how you work
Fields in different places
Practice fields, stadiums, and middle school sites each get their own monitoring, so a storm over one campus isn't missed because a coach is watching another.
Your state's heat rules
WBGT is checked against your state association's heat chart where Sports Safe has one, with the rest breaks, practice limits, and equipment rules for each band.
Proof the policy was followed
On the Organization plan, coaches log WBGT checks during practice. Each entry is timestamped and locked once saved, and the history exports as a CSV.

Most athletic programs start on Organization: 10 monitored fields at a time, 4 admins, and the compliance log. Extra fields and admins can be added as you grow.
FAQ
Common questions
Does Sports Safe follow my state's heat policy?
Where Sports Safe has your state's chart, each field is checked against it, including the right region or classification within the state. Everywhere else it uses the Korey Stringer Institute's regional WBGT guidelines and says so in the app. You can choose a different chart for any field in its settings.
Can every coach get their own alerts?
Yes. Admins sign in with their own login and see the same fields, and each one chooses which fields and which hazards they want alerts for.
Do we still need a WBGT meter?
If your association requires readings from an approved instrument for the reading of record, yes. Sports Safe estimates WBGT; it is not a meter. Use the meter for the official reading and log it in the compliance log.
