For camps

All day outdoors, all summer long.

Camp days are long, hot, and mostly outside. Sports Safe watches lightning, heat, UV, and severe weather for every activity area you monitor, and tells your staff when conditions change.

What matters to you

Sun on young skin

UV on the WHO scale with an hourly forecast, so counselors can plan shade and sunscreen breaks across the day.

Storms that arrive mid activity

A clear the field alert when lightning is inside your radius, and an all clear only after 30 quiet minutes.

FAQ

Common questions

Which heat chart does a camp follow?

Each field or area uses your state's chart where Sports Safe has one, and the Korey Stringer Institute's regional WBGT guidelines everywhere else. You can choose a different chart for any field in its settings, so follow whatever your camp's own policy requires.

Can we watch several activity areas?

Yes. Save each area as its own field and monitor the ones in use. Team covers 5 at a time and Organization 10, with more available for $3 a month each.
